Struggling to find something converting fractions to decimals without using division so made this. This is following students converting fractions with powers of 10 on the denominator into decimals. Students were encouraged to use equivalent fractions to obtain a denominator that is a power of 10 or use a fact that they already know e.g. if I know 1/8 then I can work out 1/16 by halving it, this was discussed prior to the task making equivalent statements on a fraction wall, we also looked at and discussed how if we know 1/4, how could we find 5/4, 3/4, 3/40.
Hope you find this task useful, please let me know if you have any feedback.
